About AKA
Amazing Kid Academy (AKA) is the #1 parenting guide for conscious parents with a natural perspective on parenthood.
We believe that every child is born with an inherent potential to be a superhero.
...because “even the smallest one can change the world”.
It’s up to us as parents to nurture this potential and create a supportive, sensory-rich learning environment where children can become their own teachers and parents their mentors.
On our website, in our newsletter and in our books, we share everything conscious parents need to know to raise independent, happy, free-spirited kids.
We promote a natural, mindful and minimalist lifestyle to connect our children with their intuition and Mother Earth.
This holistic way of parenting will help our kids to grow into authentic individuals who live a life full of passion, purpose and fulfillment.
Our mission is to transform parents into confident mentors who empower their kids to unleash the potential they are born with. This way we create a community of “amazing parents” and “amazing kids” who enjoy a thriving future.
What do our customers say about us:
Finally, I can stop struggling with my toddler.

Raising any toddler can be a challenging day-to-day endeavor, especially when you don’t have any tools in the toolbox to use. This book not only outlines a step-by-step approach to changing negative behavior, but it also provides you with a plethora of child rearing tools to use.
No longer will you have to struggle raising your child. I agree with the author that we need to be more empathetic towards people. This fundamental value runs throughout the book and should be one permeating our society during these trying times.
Nice parenting path!

I have been working with families of young children for more than 10 years, and I understand how stressful parenting could be, as well as the amount of books and resources could become overwhelming. If you are looking for a more daily practice routine, that will help you as a parent and to enjoy more of life, this is a good book for you.
Mindfulness isn't a religion, cult or spiritual change of life, it is more of how to see beyond the obvious to correct/change the real problem, and this book has a great way to teach this

Two of my friends are sending their children to Montessori schools and I was wondering what this education was about. Now I have a clear understanding of its benefits and I can also understand why parents want to send their kids to the Montessori school. Even though you might not send your children to the Montessori school I think there are so many great methods that this book teaches parents how a great home education could look like. I definitely recommend this book for parents with young children or expecting a child.
Great book, excellent activities

This book is easy to follow, everything is explained really well and there are a lot of examples, which I loved. I enjoyed all the various topics covered, from feeding, sleeping, movement, nature, music, what not… all in great detail but not overwhelming. We already practice in our house dozens of the suggested activities and did a lot of DIY stuff which we never did before. I’m not planning on sending my kids back to kindergarten anytime soon and who knows when we’ll be in lockdown again, so I’m glad we started implementing Montessori at home now.
Great overview and practical tips for understanding a Montessori education

We put our son in a non-traditional education when he was 2 years old (Waldorf Education). And, therefore, I am always on the lookout for books that can help other parents understand that they have options for their child's education. This book provides an excellent history of Montessori. It then dives into setting up your home to reflect more of a Montessori mindset and outlines wonderful advice on games to play (even a bonus meditation). It is an excellent read for parents who are learning about alternative education methods for their kiddos!
Perfect for beginners and non beginners

*Perfect for beginners and non-beginners*
This is one of the most well researched books I’ve read on Montessori home education. I am not a newbie to Montessori and I am a big fan of this form of education. This book is extremely informative and I can see how parents who are just starting to explore this world of Montessori will learn a great deal from this book. It’s very well explained and helps you build your Montessori home step by step. As I said, I’m not a newbie to Montessori but still learned a lot of new things. Not so much on the concepts which I already knew but I learned so many new practical ways to use Montessori at home with my kids. Great value.

If you are looking to really adopt the Montessori principles this book gives you the tools you need. The book is well written, informative, and straight to the point. No Fluff!! The authors quickly explain why Montessori is a great approach and then begin teaching you how to implement this approach in the home! I highly recommend this as a starter for parents looking to implement the Montessori method.
Excellent Well Researched Simple Plan

The author is very thorough with all aspects of the art of minimalism. They address families in all major age groups, and teach parents how to foster these ideas. They even discuss digital decluttering and meditation to create mental space. If you want less stuff and more bliss, focus on doing versus having. We could all use a bit more minimalism in our life and the author shows us how to achieve that goal.
Very detailed. A must have for 2020

Super detailed and informative without having my head spin. The table of contents is perfect as I have a 3 year old and a 9 month old. Two very different approaches. I am happy to continue implementing Montessori lifestyle during these weird and crazy 2020 times. We’re home so this is the best time to get the book and practice a Montessori upbringing.
Discover the ultimate sophistication with this book

At first I felt like the intent of this book is to take things away. Then I realized the point is to clear away clutter to enjoy the things that matter most. Most freeing of all, the author shows us it's not things that really matter, but experiences with those we love. I most enjoyed the ten affirmations toward the end of this book which included one by Leonardo da Vinci that blew me away: "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication." This book will leave you refreshed and ennobled.
